We are a lucky group; our geographic fortune puts us not only in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina, but also permits us an easy day trip to either the Appalachian mountains or the Atlantic ocean. We even have the beautiful Mountains To Sea Trail connecting the two! Our beautiful state and local parks, National forests, and even small towns provide so many beautiful hikes that you might never see the same place twice.
